Here, finally, is my list of favorite songs from 1999. I've been pretty busy so it took me a long time to compile the list, winnow it down and then decide how much I like each song.

I am well aware of the extreme dorkiness of this, but I've always loved doing my own music surveys - I used to do it every other week or so when I was a teenager.

I also realize that with the turning of the year I am now THREE years behind. Maybe I'll catch up by doing two other years this year, or maybe not. There are, definitely more useful ways to spend one's time.
