Staggering Across The Finish Line

Good God Almighty, I did it! I'm finally caught up in this journal!

At one point I was more than three weeks behind, but by keeping my nose to the grindstone, I was able to actually catch up to the present day. Glory be!

Of course, as I know from experience, the tricky part is STAYING caught up. Well, I'll try to take it one day at a time.

Now that I'm living in the present tense again (so to speak) I have some plans for this journal. Mainly, some base and transparent schemes to increase my flagging hit count. Well, isn't that what every online journalist wants??

For starters, I think I need to make Uberhamster more friendly to the casual reader. I'm thinking that the best way to begin to do that is to have an "Intro" page and a "Cast of Characters" page. Well, it's a start. I imagine looking at a diary and seeing that it already has 400+ entries (GAK!) is a little daunting. But it's all quality stuff, honest!

Again, my aim here is to have content every day, barring something extraordinary. I figure that's the best way to keep a regular readership, and to hone my writing skills. So far this consistency has eluded me, but I'm not giving up yet!
