Best Laid Plans

Well, Lily has been gone for three days. So how is Mr. Hamster doing with all the things he wanted to get done? Not so good actually. Some surprise, eh?

I'm just finding the going to be incredibly slow. I'm finding it hard to concentrate on the task at hand, and I keep getting distracted by the computer.

You know I thought it would be easier to get things done with Lily not around, instead it is harder. I miss her terribly, and I guess not having her here is bumming me out.

The thing is, she's not really gone. She and I talk on the phone at least a couple times a day every day and we frequently talk on the computer. I was under the impression that she'd be too busy to communicate with me while she was visiting with her cousins. Guess not! Maybe her cousins aren't as interesting as all that.

Well, I have got some things accomplished. I've made some progress on the terrible mess in the Library. Maybe I can turn it around and really get something done in the last two days.

Yeah, I don't believe that either.
