Sick Hammie, Again

Damn, damn, damn. I knew it was too good to be true.

The little gray hamster I bought the other day is sick. Poor tiny little Leet has the dreaded Wet Tail. I KNEW that pet store wasn't a healthy place.

Poor Leet looks miserable, not at all like the bouncy little girl we saw a few days ago. Her ears are back against her head and as she staggers around the cage she occasionally loses her balance.

Well, I'm not just going to sit by and just hope she gets better. There are some sulfa drugs that are available to give to small pets. These are mild antibiotics, and you can get them without a prescription. I don't know how much good they will do, but I am going to give it my best shot.

Once again, little Leet has youth on her side, but that didn't help poor Cinnie much.
