Sneaky

It's an inescapable fact: Valentine's Day is tomorrow. You'd have to be a blind hermit not to know it.

For the last few days the question has been hanging over the house - what are Lily and I going to do for Valentine's Day? After all, it is our first V-Day together.

I have been pretending that it's no big deal and that I didn’t have anything planned, but of course I've had something in mind for a while. Lily thinks that I am incapable of lying. While I am generally quite bad at it, I can dissemble quite well if properly motivated. Tee hee.

There is a problem though. Both of us, Lily especially, are going to be very busy on Valentine's Day. This will make what I have in mind rather difficult to pull off.

Then the following delicious idea occurred to me: how can one make sure a Valentine's Day surprise is really a surprise? By doing it a day early!
